Get on with life

Goodness.... I hate stress. Its been a very stressful week, first those political coups whatever during the past few days made my mind reveling...glued to the TV. This start...spiralled into may things...I was not able to do my work targets...and now panicking...which I hate.

I also traded forex...with out much analysis...so got holding a losing trade. But closed it quick...my rule number one is: do not hold a trade with more than 30 pips in the red. Its not arbitrary of course, it will depend on resistance, recent high or recent lows. I am appaled to read in the Oanda forum that some guys are holding trades with more than 500 pips onthe red? Hello...me, I will only hold a trade when it is on the black after a 30 minutes...if not I close it ASAP...no matter what my initial analysis were. Why? because my method, and if my analysis is right...it will move to my direction...at least by 5 to 10 pips after 30 minutes!

Anyway, thanks ..... now that...everything is quite in the homeland again, probably most of us, including me, can now focus with our work, obligations, and targets, whatever.

PS: My trade now is short EUR/CHF and 15 pips on the black, stop loss on recent high (1.5670), expecting to pocket hundreds of pips.

So ... what are the options?

OK if the current administration falls, what are the options?

1. Transistion government run by the communists and suspension of everything for 1000 days? No elections, whatever,…. you sure they will not turn the country into a Cambodia? Care for human rights? Do you remember Operation Ahos? How they purge their members by mere suspicion – and blame the government for their evil deeds? And the clergy…what are they thinking? Mingling with people who pray to Joma Sison, hello….

Sayang si Randy David…his wife is with government, why don’t he ask her to resign, if he hates the current administration and wants to set up a transition government. Is he dreaming to become a Polpot? Baka……., he is getting old and slippin to stupidity, I guess, hehe.

2. A military junta? Headed by Abat? You sure you want this? Well…another one, hehehe.

3. A government runs by ERAP? Well the sons are funding to resurrect the actor to the Palace. You sure you want him back?

4. A government run by the has beens – desperate politicians? Pimentel, Drilon, et al? Franklly, Pimentel should resign and retire – nothing good and appealing is coming out from the mouth of that old silly senile- old man. Kulobot na sya and every time he appears on TV he looks so desperate and silly!

5. A government run by De Castro? You sure he can run a country and fight a coup de etat? Will the 40 Billion Meralco refund be solve? What about the 40 Billion overdue with Napocor? Kalas?

6. A government run by Susan Roces with Rez Cortez as Presidential Economic adviser….well. Jingoy, Loi and JV will ask for a cut of the pie… Cabinet positions maybe…hmmm.


Choose! Which option? I wonder what sort of drama and headlines we would be creating for the world to enjoy once these groups starts fighting for power when La Gloria is gone? Hehehehe.

Take note: all of them are claiming to fight for the people's interests! Hehehehe. Kakatawa diba?

The Hypocrites

Cory Aquino had been asking for supreme sacrifices…please resign, blah blah. The problem is, she now lacks credibility herself, however, that lost credibility can be restored if she does the sacrifice first: distribute Hacienda Luisita to the farmers now – OK? Then I may agree to the calls of supreme sacrifice. For all I know, she is rallying for every opportunity she can get – so she can save the Hacienda. Hyprocrite, indeed! Sayang…please stop desecrating the memory of Ninoy.

Satur Ocampo, Beltran et-al and their communist allies, these are another set of hypocrites and scoundrels. Where were they during EDSA-1? They were not there, they boycotted the elections, and they called EDSA 1 a sham! A Sham and fake -Remember? Now they are out their celebrating….hello…celebrating their betrayal of what the people wanted at that time? Kapal nyo!

Why did they betray the people's interests in 1986? Well….well the communists and its allies – Bayan Muna et al only wanted an armed revolution. They just want to shoot and kill our military, put the petty bourgoise in jails, shut down the whole country, and outlaw religion! Among others….

They are now out their – celebrating their betrayal of peoples interest in 1986! Hyprocites!

These people should be investigated where they are spending their pork barrels. How much, ilang porseyento are going to the communist party? If you tell me na wala, I will tell you – I was not born yesterday. Sa mga progressive NGOs lang, sinisingil nila ng butaw at porsyento – kaya sila pa. Please don’t lie! Paano naming kayo paniniwalaan, kong kayo ay sinungaling? Ang tanong, magkano? Ilang prosyento?

Bird flu again

BirdFlu again, I visited CNN tonight, and in their headline: Hungary, Croatia confirmed birdflu outbreak, and that India are testing people for the disease and their government are killing hundreds of thousands of birds. Malaysia is doing the same. Fifteen countries reported birdflu outbreaks this month indicating that the spread is growing faster and faster. Jump of the virus to other animals are occurring – including humans.

Many countries are preparing, planning, and putting contingency plan to reduce impact if ever a pandemic occurs.

Meanwhile, in the Philippines, our leaders are busy.

Busy politiking, photo ops, destabilizing the government, and a bit of bombing here are there to sow panic.

Well….to our dear politicians…..keept it up. Don’t worry we will pay our taxes so you can have more money to put in your pockets.

Bird Flu - 3

As part of my morning routine, coffee, bath, check my fx trades, place orders and stops, review my work target outputs for the day, checklist of my to do’s for the day, divide and schedule my time, squeeze some blog time, and scan the news. Part of the news that I scan are cnn, bbc, nytimes, iht, and arab news; apart from manila times, inq7, and philstar.

So?..well my blog yesterday was about bird flu. Today’s headline of the International Herald Tribune is about bird flu.

So?... I tried checking info’s whether our government has made preparations, protocols, to what extent, etc. if the bird flu hit pandemic levels today. Are we prepared? If not, is something being done about it?

The pandemic could happen/start tomorrow, next month or 5 years from now…who knows? And if projections are right it could possibly afflict 35% of our population.

So? My question is: Are there preparations being undertaken? Contingency plans?

Or tsaka na….wala pa naman eh. Or until when photo ops, becomes available?

Bird Flu -2

I search the internet about birdflu, and here’s what I found out.

We are now in the last stages of a very long process.

Stage 1: Existence of the virus….its already there. KALAS.
Stage 2: Jump from birds to humans….already happened. KALAS.
Stage 3: Transmission from human to human….still in the process, and once it happened….KALAS. Yon na!

Birdflu, once human transmission occurred is going to be a pandemic.

The last pandemic was in 1918 and it killed 40 million! Some say, 50 million ++.

The USA said if pandemic happened today, there deaths would only be 2 to 3 million. Because they have excellent health care, numerous hospital beds, numerous medicines, food, disinfectant, etc. etc.

Most of the deaths will happen in developing countries for obvious reasons. Experts say the pandemic will hit 25 to 35% of the world population. Death rates will depend on the virulence of the virus.

Gaano karami ba ang 25 or 35% of the world population. In China, if they have 1 billion – it will be 350 million, diba? Also in India, 350 million, because 1 billion din yata sila.

Sa Pinas? we are 85 million, ilan kaya? I don’t want to calculate…. I do not want to think about it.

Is it coming? They say…Yes…..and it’s just a matter of time. Hala ka….

Bird Flu

I watched Oprah last night, and the topic of the show was about birdflu. What stuck in my mind about the show was the fact that the expert said: its coming, it will happen, and it’s just a matter of time.

Who am I to doubt or question that guy? So, I’ll take it for real.

I remember when I was in college that I had a subject on Ecology and Biodiversity; in that class, I learned that communities, somehow, go into cycles: for example, algae population would flourish/bloom, afterwards its population would drop… and soon…a boom-bust cycle of some sort. The typical example that comes into mind is the red tide events, only that the time scale is very short….it appears…and it disappears.APIR!. If we take human population as another example, probably it will also go into the same cycle – population explosion, after certain events, its population would bust to certain levels – and the only difference is that the time scale is much longer.

Probably, it is a natural process, and what comes into my mind is the GAIA theory, which says, (I hope I am right), “after a period of stresses and abuse, mother earth has a capacity to heal itself, one way or the other” and it wouldn’t care – in the process of healing itself- whether humans will be part or not of the healed earth. Something like that….

So…? All I am saying is that I agree with that guy. It is coming, and it is just a matter of time.

A Silent Prayer

I have been to Brgy. Guinsaungon, St. Bernard in February 2003. At ang mga na-alala ko ay ang kabaitan ng mga taga roon. Pinatira kami sa kanilang mga bahay, ipinagluto, at tinulungan sa aming interviews. Si Kapitan ay nasa late thirties at aktibo para sa ikauunlad ng kanilang Barangay. Ang mga kababaihan, lalo na ang mga miyembro ng Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) ay mga aktibo rin.

Pumunta kami roon para interbyuhin sila sa dahilang gusto nilang maging expansion site ng Women’s Health and Safe Motherhood Project - Partnership Component – ng RPMU-8. Isang malawakang proyekto para tulungan ang kasulusugan at kabuhayan ng mga kababaihan, ang proyekto ay pinondohan ng EU at ipinatupad ng DOH.

Ang hiling ni Kap noon ay isang maliit na Health Center para sa kanyang Barangay. At handa silang magcounterpart ng labor at materyales para sa pagpapatayo nito. Kahit ang boung IRA nila for that year ay handa nilang e-counterpart matupad lang ang kanilang pangarap. Ang hangad nila ay kaunlaran, kalusugan, at katahimikan para sa kanilang Barangay.

Mga hangarin…pangarap…all gone!

Ngayon…hindi ko maisip na ang boung barangay ay wala na . Hindi ko alam kong bakit? Bakit sila pa? Mababait at matulungin na mamamayan ang alam kong mga nakatira doon.

I traded forex for a few months in 2003. Again in 2004, and again in 2005; and in December of 2005, I think I found something. After all those years, at last, I found something! I think…. and I hope…. I am not hallucinating…and dreaming…hehehehe. Hello………

Once, I feel that it’s really working. If the money starts showing on my balance….then Kalas…..yallah….shada!

Just too exciting….goodness!

All I can say is the world is round and it keeps on turning! And things happens for a reason….and if it is bound to happen, it will,…..just search for it! Keep on searching….no matter….even if it takes you years…. if you are bound to hanap it, then you will find it.

US/Yen Trade Update

Hehehehe, just happy. I did it again....hmmm. Yallah! hehehe. Shada! It's really nice to trade when you can predict the price movements. My ever reliable Fibo did its magic again! It even reach the lowest levels possible. Up my NAV again, for this month, by 100%. Wee..ha. I wish I am not just trading lunch money. If I started with 1000 dollars, I would be worth, more than 20K by now since December last year.....but what the heck. If its bound to happen, it will. Relax...be patient. At the rate I am doing now....probably I'll be worth 100K by December, hehehe.

My bias for the next couple of days is long US/Yen., but not full leverage like in the past three days....don't wanna give some winnings back, hehehe.

Now....I am going home just to trade or not?

Well...see.

I think I found my niche in life, hahahaha....trade and be rich!!!

I guess...its home in a month or two. Well see.

I blogged about the riots last year, remember? I said…it's something,….it's…. it’s a tip of a much larger problem, and a much larger trouble….hmmm. I sincerely hope I am wrong.

There was a visit …..it was not good. My guess, misplaced words were said, hehehe.

(I said resurrected because..its was a few months old, and there exist many types, versions, recent and old. Some can be seen in paintings displayed in museums of Paris, Rome, US etc., some can be read in books, one is by Dante, was it the Divine Comedy?)

One thing's is sure…..the power…..the power waned…its waning day by day. Just look at the deficit! The drop, the flop…is soon. It's unevitable….something must be done!

Therefore, I foresee a massive trade in weapons in the coming months. That’s the only way.

Something is in the air (2)

I blogged in December last year that there is something wrong in the air…..and I thought it was just a fart. Now, more than two months after that post, I can smell, still, that indeed, something is wrong. I do hope it's just a fart.

Winter in KSA.

I was here in 2003, and I remember, December until around first week of March – it was cold, winter eh.

In 2004, yup it was also cold, winter kasi.

In 2005, December – I waited for the whole month for the winter to sets in, I told myself, maybe it going to be late this year….there was a brief cold in January, 2nd week until third, week – and that's it? Last week, and this week, it was already warm. May Saudi office mate (he has a PhD somewhere), asked me yesterday if winter has already passed, and I told him yes…I think so. He replied that he doesn’t think so….cold will come next week or next month….but by then it will be March! He believes….winter is still coming…hehehehe, when? in summer? Hello….

Believe me guys….there is something wrong in the air….whatever it is….I no longer think, its just a fart.

Trading the Yen

If there’s a currency that I can predict, it’s the Yen, I mean the US/Yen. In the Asian session we can tell what are the mind set of the Asians are (take note, Pinoy ako!), the Japs, good people as they are – really follow the rules, hehehe, I mean if the conventional analysis is that – Yen will fall or strengthen according to Fibo analysis….then trust your trade that it will obey – as predicted – as it is within the rules, they will trade it accordingly….and me, the small ant than I am, will ride it, hehehe. As usual, if it goes down, it will go up, hehehe, ride, baby, ride hmmm (to the tune of rock baby rock).

In my December trade, I made over a 1000% on my tiny NAV, lost some 250% of that 1000% last January, but now back to excitement again – shorting the US/Yen. My TP is at 117.323, although according to my Fibo it will go down to around117.200 – but I just want to be sure I ‘ll have my TP so taking it at 323 (don’t want to bite what I can’t chew), hehehe, hoping my trailing stops wont get hit before it really reaches 117.323.

After this trade I will just watch, watch, bias for long, and wait again for another drop ( after a month or two?) hehehe, of course, of course.

Watch out! EU and US session…most of the time they defy gravity.

On the news

I dont want to blog about death and dead people. On the news, around 70 people died on the Pasig stampede, more than a hundred wounded. Some people say it was because many people were desperate to win prices in the game show, indicating the desperation of our poor countrymen. Of course, as in anything and everything else, its easy to blame the government on this matter. But for me, the game show and the channel war should be blamed too. Wowowee is a desperate show - selling beggary and false hopes to our countrymen. It actually is institutionalizing the culture of beggary and dependency - look at how a few dollars are given away to dramatic needy people. It creates this impression and value to some people: lets not work, let us just fall in line for the game show, lets do theatherics and drama, beg, and probably win the jackpot. Its our ticket to wealth. So....there goes, everyone is falling in line.

Actually, the misery of our country, and the star studed politics we have is attributable to our media, not to mention the sensationalizing approach they use to destabilize our government. I wonder how much is the overall cost (losses) of underdevelopment of our country that can ba attributed to our greedy media?

Also in the news, a 30 year old woman jump in Manila Hotel, probably a suicide.

When you die...you're going to be dead for how long? 10 years? 100? 1000? 1 billion years? 1 trillion, or 1 billion trillion years? I dont know, what I know is you're going to be dead for a long long time..right?

If you chose life? How long will you live, max? 70 years? that woman ended hers with just 30! Thirty years is how much of 1 billion trillion years? Goodness...she should not have done that, why did she hurry....when she has eternity to be dead.

For me, if you are planning to be dead. Help a 100, or a 1000 people, smile, smell the flowers, watch a 1000 movies, visit 5 countries. If not, fucked your brains out...hehehe. After you have done all these, I am sure, you will tell yourself...I love life, I dont wanna die.
